Lizbeth Meredith - Rescuing her kidnapped daughters

Lizbeth Meredith is an award winning author, speaker online teacher who enjoys coaching and consulting part-time - a fun addition after three-decades career serving crime victims and offenders.

As a young child from a chaotic home punctuated by ineducation, family violence, and parental kidnapping, Lizbeth couldn’t wait to become an adult to create a brighter future. Instead, in her mid-twenties, she found herself living in a domestic abuse shelter in 1990 with her two small daughters. It took everything and then some to get a degree in journalism, learn to parent instead of control, and get a job at the very battered women’s shelter that had previously helped her.

In 1994, Lizbeth Meredith said good-bye to her four- and six year-old daughters for a visit with their non-custodial father only to learn days later that they had been kidnapped and taken to their father's home country of Greece.

Her memoir, Pieces of Me: Rescuing My Kidnapped Daughters, was published by She Writes Press, and has recently been adapted as Stolen By Their Father: The Lizbeth Meredith Story on Lifetime Television.
